About the company
Our client is a fast-growing financial technology company.
The role
Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Lead the design and delivery of core backend systems for a software platform, taking ambiguous problems from first idea to dependable production services. The work spans data infrastructure, transaction-handling services and internal tooling, with a high degree of autonomy in a fast-paced startup setting.
What you'll do
- Build and maintain production backend services for core data and transaction infrastructure using TypeScript and Node.js.
- Design APIs, services and data models that other teams rely on, prioritizing correctness and reliability.
- Develop internal tooling that gives colleagues clearer visibility into data and automated outcomes so they can work faster.
- Drive loosely defined projects from problem framing through a proposed approach, incremental releases and continued refinement.
- Improve the reliability, latency and accuracy of systems that influence business-critical decisions.
